Proverbs 22:6 is Growing Up Godly’s foundational scripture. Growing Up Godly is about inspiring young people toward a life of true discipleship through a genuine relationship with God. My hope is that middle schoolers and high schoolers will connect with God on a deeper level, coming to their own understanding that although the Bible is many, many centuries old, it’s still completely relevant to their lives.
As parents and as leaders our greatest desire is for youths to open up; have their own experience with the Lord – a meaningful encounter that breaks the barriers of the swipe-left generation of which they are a part.
Time goes by so quickly!
There is so much to teach our youth in only a few years. In such a limited time it is crucial that they develop a powerful prayer life, learn to study the Word on their own, so that they successfully transition into a young adult, single or college ministry as productive Christian members of the kingdom of God and of the society at large.
